Description
Our Transfer Stickers Are Clear Film With A Sticky Front Side
A transfer sticker is a printed design on a temporary clear film with a sticky front side. It is usually a transparent or translucent film, with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the face side. When you press the sticker onto a surface, the design sticks to that surface. You then remove the clear sticker film, which leaves only your design on the surface. So there remains no clear or white outline around the graphics.Â
Custom-making of Transfer Sticker
Face Material
TheProductBoxes manufactures waterproof transfer stickers with vinyl or polyester transfer film. Custom vinyl transfer stickers fit on smooth curves, textures, and irregular surfaces. The edges stay flat and do not wrinkle.
Polyester film works best for flat, rigid objects that need precise shape retention and chemical protection. Custom transfer stickers are ideal for electronic panels, metal parts, and hard retail boxes.
Adhesive Layer
The adhesive on a custom sticker remains directly on the graphic layer and not on a separate backing. Because of this design, the entire print sticks to the surface when you apply pressure.
We use permanent, pressure-sensitive bulk transfer stickers for all large orders. This procedure cures completely within 24 hours after you apply it. It will not turn yellow, create bubbles, or peel away under normal temperature and humidity conditions.
Transfer Tape Carrier
The carrier layer on stickers is a temporary clear film. It carries the picture until you put it on the surface. This film removes easily after the picture sticks to the object.Â
The sticky back of UV transfer stickers has the perfect strength. It is strong enough to keep thin lines in the correct spot while you apply the picture.Â
At the same time, it is light enough to pull away easily. It will not lift the design off the surface when you remove it.Â
Print Specifications
Digital Full-Color Transfer Stickers
We use full-color digital printing for custom-printed transfer stickers. This process involves custom images, colors, and brand details. There are no restrictions on color choices, and we do not charge plate setup fees. We also offer exact color matching for specific brand guidelines on large bulk orders.
Finish Options
Gloss finishing of sticker lamination makes colors attractive and adds a strong, protective layer over the printing. Matte lamination creates a flat finish with no reflection, which is common for cosmetic, health, and premium brands.Â
Both options protect the print from scratches and sun damage. This extra protection extends the lifespan of UV transfer stickers when people use them outdoors or touch them frequently.
Cut Tolerance and Artwork Requirements
We produce kiss-cut stickers and glitter stickers, with a minimum cut accuracy of 0.5 millimeters on narrow borders. Please submit your artwork files in PDF, AI, or EPS format. Ensure all text is converted to outlines, include a 0.125-inch extra border on all sides for the trim, and place the cut lines on a separate layer that does not print.
Internal cutouts and empty spaces must have a minimum width of 1 millimeter. This ensures the sticker stays in one piece when you apply it to a surface.
Surface Compatibility and Application
Dry transfer stickers adhere permanently to glass, car, metal, rigid plastic, painted wood, powder-coated surfaces, and sealed paperboard.Â
To apply the stickers, clean the area with isopropyl alcohol and wait for it to dry completely. Place the transfer on the surface, press firmly across the entire graphic with a flat-edged tool, and pull off the top sheet.
Standard transfer film does not work well on surfaces with heavy texture, deep grain, or moisture. For those materials, we offer flexible vinyl transfer stickers with a stronger adhesive on request.
